Fall Foliage

This year we decided to stay in a B&B in New Preston, Connecticut for our Foliage trip. We absolutely had a great time there, and we made a promise that, we will try to revisit the place every year.

B&B has two rooms, both of them has private entrances.

The garden in the back is about the size of a basketball court.

Alicia, the female owner has a garden, she grew all kinds of herbs and flowers.

Late summer, or I should say fall blossom.

Every morning, Alicia would make wonderful breakfast for us in this lovely kitchen. I miss her fresh bake biscuits so much.

Hansel, the male owner is a great wood crafter, he hand craft all kinds of wooden utentials.

Alicia sure has a green thumb. She shared with us about her secret organic fertilizer, which is fermented banana peels.

Handmade cloved pinned lemon.

We went to the White Horse Country Pub to grab a late lunch.

Joe's Tapped Pumpkin Ale.

House Signature Burger $11.75
Extravagant, succulent and juicy, a really most excellent burger. Utilizing 1/2lb of our exclusive blend of black angus sirloin, brisket, and short rib, with apple wood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, romaine leaf, tomato, and our special seasoned sage derby blue cheese sauce on a toasted buttered brioche.

Warm Goat Cheese Salad $9.50
Baked montrachet wrapped in puff pastry, over mixed greens tossed with our house vinaigrette.

Stumble on an ice cream house

Joe is enjoying his Lavender Ice Cream

The Kent Fall Park, we find it not really worth it to pay $15. It is really like a family picnic area than a hiking trail, it only took us 1/ hour to walk through the whole park.

We found a hidden State park in CT, name lover's loop

Beautiful Scenery

Although the color of the leaves is not at their peak yet, Joe agree that the weather was just so nice and comfortable.

We also had Sushi dinner in here one night.
