Thanksgiving Dinner with family

This year we celebrate Thanksgiving on Wednesday instead Thursday. Just like before, I had a wonderful night with my dearest family. Because I had to work that day, Daddy baked the Turkey, and we all agreed that this is by far the best Turkey!!! (well...we dont cook turkey very often) The morning I marinated the Turkey with olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, basil, s&p. It came out just perfect :)

Roasted Pepper with stuffed couscous in tomato sauce
They look better than they tasted. Just not a big fan of couscous. Or maybe I should say I havent found a good recipe for making couscous.

Mashed Potato with Garlic and Cream
With a little bit of creme fraiche, cream cheese, and cream (pretty much whatever dairy fat I can find in the fridge), and of course some fresh gralic, it transform the good mashed potato to GREAT mashed potato.

Hungarian Salami Appitizer

Pumpkin Pie with Puff Pastry Crust
I love this recipe from Joy of Baking, and the fresh pumpkin just move it up another level. It is so creamy and, even my daddy with chinese taste buds loves it :)

Top it with whipped cream and Maple Syrup...hm...out of this world.

I am thankful for haveing my job, my good health and my wonderful family :)
