And as sweet as usually :), he brought me to the Tenement Museum.
We have joined the 1 hour tour "Getting By", I would say that it was a very interesting experience. Got to see how new immigrants from more than 100 years struggle to starve and tried to provide the best for their family, it reminds me to appreciate for all the sacrifices my parents has made.
As the tour finished, we took the bus to St. Mark for an early dinner (we usually walk, but that day was just too cold.). After walking around for 15+ mins, we decided to stick with Japanese cucine again. Kenka might not be the most romantic place, but as a very down to earth couple, we both agreed that this would be THE place for the night.
Kev checking out the menu
Shake Onigiri (rice balls w/ Salmon)
Yakitori(Grill chicken with green onion)
Toro Toro Yaki (Grill fatty Tuna)
Yaki Soba
Employee's meal (Sukiyaki)
And, we closed our night with a slice of cheese cake and green tea au lait from Panya Bakery.
